Management Trainee Officer - Procurement

1. Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine the quantity and types of materials needed for fan production. This involves working closely with production planners and other relevant departments to ensure that material requirements are accurately predicted.

2. Identify potential suppliers for fan components and materials, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors. This includes evaluating supplier capabilities, assessing quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

3. Monitor and analyze costs associated with materials procurement, including purchase price, shipping, and handling costs. Look for opportunities to reduce costs through negotiation, bulk purchasing, or alternative sourcing strategies.

4. Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and components to ensure that production demands are met while minimizing excess inventory and associated carrying costs.

5. Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for materials. Implement processes for inspecting incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.

6. Coordinate the logistics of material delivery to ensure that components arrived at the manufacturing facility on time and in the required quantities.

7. Identify potential risks to the supply chain, such as supplier reliability issues or market fluctuations, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

8. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

9. Collaborate with other departments such as production, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives and production schedules.
