Senior Software Engineer

SA Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Vue JS and Laravel who will also lead and manage a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coding, a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and inspire a team to deliver high-quality software products. Senior Software Engineer will be will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, as well as managing and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Full lifecycle application development
Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages
Front end graphical user interface implementation
Integrating software with existing systems
Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
Assists in software testing and quality assurance
Supporting, maintaining and documenting software functionality
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
Guide and participate in recruiting best technical talent for the team.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to identify the business “Technical needs” from specifications and requirements
Lead and manage a team of developers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices are followed
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or in production
Develop, test and maintain web-based applications using Vue JS and Laravel

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in software development using Vue JS and Laravel
Knowledge of database design, SQL and NoSQL
Must be able to write queries for relational and non-relational databases
Relational database operations CRUD etc
Non-relational database operations
Experience with source control management tools such as Git
Experience with agile development methodologies and project management
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
