· Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods

· Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults

· Diagnosing breakdown problems

· Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly

· Carrying out quality inspections on jobs

· Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues

· Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components

· Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment

· Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs

· Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs

· Improving health and safety policies and procedures

· Develop maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines

· Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.

Fire Fighting

· Preventing fires by providing regular inspections

· Reducing fire damage with the help of own equipment and by making sure it’s in the right working order

· Keeping station and equipment in great condition and providing regular maintenance, inspection, repair

· Analyze existing protection measures and design up-to-date fire protection systems.

· Inspect buildings or building designs to determine fire protection system requirements and potential problems in areas such as water supplies, exit locations, and construction materials.

· Inspect facilities or sites to determine if they meet specifications or standards.

· Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on fire protection.

· Teach safety standards or environmental compliance methods.

· Determine causes of fires and ways in which they could have been prevented.

· Determine causes of operational problems or failures

· Prepare and write reports detailing specific fire prevention and protection issues, such as work performed, revised codes or standards, and proposed review schedules.

· Prepare technical or operational reports
