MEP Engineer

MEP Engineer’s role is mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineering activities of company resources, vendors, and sub-contractors in the execution of projects to ensure that contractual obligations are satisfied efficiently and effectively. Ensure that the design, specifications, and requisitions are by Industry, Company, s and Client Standards for all equipment incorporated in projects.

Job Responsibilities

Heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, water, and sanitation, are very important therefore MEP engineers need to provide efficient solutions for heating, cooling, water, sanitation, and ventilation systems.
To review the Client and Company Tender Specifications and Handover Documentation, including the Tender Programme, and to fully define the Project and its scope
MEP engineer has to go through every detail comprehensively to ensure that all the electrical connections are safe and secure and positioned exactly where they should be.
Lighting and electrification should be designed to enhance the aesthetic beauty of the project.
MEP engineer ensures the application of proper technology and the right materials in designing and installations of plumbing networks.
A proper fire alarm is a critical aspect of fire safety.
It provides additional safety cover over and above general fire safety measures.
MEP Engineers are updated with energy-efficient standards and provide solutions to projects depending on their scale and requirement. This helps in conserving energy, reducing construction costs, and reducing the overall carbon footprint.
