· Communicating with the buyer, vendor, bank, freight forwarder to resolve any problems on the orders, shipments and payments Original documents etc.

· Floatation of inquiries to foreign & local suppliers

· Preparation of rates/quotation comparative statement.

· LC documents preparations and follow up with the bank for LC establishment.

· Tracking the arrival of international / foreign consignments, documents preparations for their clearance.

· SAP entries / SAP implementation

· Follow up with freight forwarder/ transporter for timely delivery.

· Clearing agents bill processing & forward to AC department.

· Payments follow up with account department.

· Shipping document & customs duties.

· Custom Duty follow-up with account department.

· Maintaining vendor approved list.

· All other duties as assigned by manager

pFounded in 1948 as Pak Rubber Industries, the company was incorporated as Samad Rubber Works (Pvt.) Ltd. in 1962. With a focus on product development, the company has been manufacturing a variety of molded and fabricated products based on polymers and polymer coated fabrics since its inception. We also have the distinction of being pioneers in the field of contact adhesives in Pakistan. We have, over the years, developed a range of products for our uniquely diverse customer base in the fashion, household, industrial and military sectors. Our commercial products include an array of adhesives for household and industrial use, as well as polymeric unicellular foam sheets for the sports and footwear industries. Our apparel division, Samad Apparel is SEDEX compliant, BSCI, ISO 9001 & 14001 certified garment manufacturing facility, catering to the international market. The company has been working in close association with the Pakistan defense forces since 1962 to indigenously develop products for its use. Product design and development is driven by a strong focus on understanding the operational needs of the military. Our culture of commitment to excellence at all levels has resulted in development and production of a range of critical military products. These products stand inducted in the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force meeting stringent military specifications. The company has not only retained, but has excelled in developing its historical skill of manufacturing a diverse range of inflatables. Our range of inflatables includes leisure equipment, rugged high performance military equipment and sensitive life-saving products. Additionally, a reasonable sized capacity has been allocated at Samad Apparel for fabrication of high performance textile products such as rucksacks, chest rigs, assault vest and sleeping bags. We have pioneered import substitution of a number of highly technical products for the Pakistan armed forces.
