Position: Service desk / Network support technologist

Desired nature of experience

Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in Service desk and Network support in mid to large scale organization.
Hands-on experience of PC / Laptop / Printer operations and troubleshooting, Coordination with users.
-Hands-on experience of Network related issues troubleshooting.
Hands-on working experience of Windows Network Environment.
Hands-on experience of Network switch and Access Point basic configuration.
Hands-on experience of structured network cabling in switches and user end, end to end
connection testing, network rack cables harnessing including tagging / labeling.
Hand-on experience of conducting Video Conferencing through H.323/ MS Teams / Zoom.
Should have hands-on of IT Support ticketing system.

Desired Skillset

Should have knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environment.
Should have knowledge Laptop / Desktop Antivirus.
Should have knowledge of folder / printer / scanner sharing.
Should have supervised Fiber Optic Laying and Termination.
Should have supervised LAN structured cabling and Network Testing like Fluke Testing, OTDR Testing etc.
Should have knowledge of O365 MS Outlook client end configuration.
Should have knowledge of IT Support ticketing system.

Job Description

Responsible for performing work that supports the operation, installation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN.
Ensure job safety permits (where needed) to execute activities related to networks.
Manage network activities with structured cabling (including configuring network related devices).
Maintain network related diagrams and documentation.
Responsible for performing work that supports the operation, installation, and maintenance of Laptop / Desktop / Printer.
Prompt response over IT support ticketing system
