Compliance Associate

Shams Power is scaling up and expanding its portfolio of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar Projects, and is looking for exceptional Business Development individuals to be a part of its dynamic and result driven team. What we are looking for

Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced Compliance Associate to guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal, regulatory and internal guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description:

Implement and manage an effective technical, financial & banking, HSES, legal and regulatory compliance program.
Research, develop and review company policies related to financial & banking, HSES, HR, legal and operations.
Apprise management on the company’s compliance with internal policies set in place with lenders and financiers, local laws and regulations through detailed reports.
Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk.
Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
Help with documentation, research, presentations, policies and proposals as per company requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, law, or a related field.
Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
Good understanding of Financial Modelling
3-4 years’ experience will be a plus
