Job Responsibilities:

Asses, plan, implement and evaluate patient care pre-op and post-op based on individual needs

Record visual acuity.
Perform different diagnostic tests.
Perform low vision assessment.
Perform refraction (subjective +objective) & A-scan biometry.
Assist in B-scan ultrasonography.
Check patients existing glasses & assess for need of new glasses.
Perform different visual field tests.
Perform Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) scan and corneal scan.
Assist doctor on refractions (subjective +objective), slit lamp examination applanation tonometry indirect ophthalmoscopy, A-scan biometry, B-scan ultrasonography.
Assist in patient handling and scheduling.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment.
Receive call back from lab and follow read-back for critical test results of patients.
Follow departmental policy, procedures & SOPs.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to work efficiently in a team.
Must have the ability to show empathy when working with patients.
Ability to find solutions to problems.
Must be able to give meticulous attention to minor details.
