Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
- Employ innovative and evidence-based teaching methodologies.
- Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical and academic settings.
- Contribute to curriculum development, review, and improvement.
- Mentor junior faculty and students in teaching and academic pursuits.
Research and Scholarship:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in a specialized area of dentistry.
- Secure external research funding through grants and collaborations (with increasing independence).
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed dental and related journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and students in research projects.
Clinical Practice (if applicable):
- Maintain an active clinical practice in a specialized area of dentistry, providing high-quality patient care and serving as a clinical role model.
- Supervise and guide students and residents in clinical settings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Service and Administration:
- Serve on departmental, school/college, and university committees.
- Contribute to departmental governance and decision-making processes.
- Participate in accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives.
- Engage in professional organizations and contribute to the dental profession.
- May take on leadership roles within the department or school/college.
