Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Laboratory Instruction:
- Assist faculty members in the delivery of lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate medical, dental, or allied health sciences students.
- Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and equipment according to established protocols.
- Demonstrate biochemical experiments and techniques to students, ensuring proper understanding and safety procedures.
- Supervise and guide students during laboratory practicals, providing individual assistance and addressing queries.
- Assist in the development and preparation of laboratory manuals, handouts, and assessment tools.
Laboratory Management and Maintenance:
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the biochemistry laboratory.
- Ensure the proper functioning and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Assist in the inventory management of laboratory chemicals, reagents, consumables, and equipment.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and ensure students comply with them.
Student Assessment:
- Assist in the evaluation of student performance in laboratory practicals, assignments, and viva voce examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their laboratory work.
Research Assistance (Optional):
- May assist faculty members in ongoing research projects, including basic experimental procedures, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in the organization of departmental meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and laboratory activities.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Department or faculty members.
