- Work closely with the BAs, QAs and development teams to resolve application issues
- Prepare weekly progress reports
- Ability to work under pressure and diversified working environment.
- Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
- Designing and installing software databases.
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
- Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
- White Box, Black Box, Regression, Penetration, Integration and Load testing for Web
- Strong working experience of Automation tools e.g. Selenium and JMeter
- Experience working in a collaborative environment and working knowledge of project management tools e.g JIRA
- Sound communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional experience of developing QA artifacts e.g. test plans, test cases, issue logs, UAT reports etc.
- Strong experience of API testing tools e.g. Postman
- A self-organizing and self-motivated team player
