SmartSquareLLC is looking for a senior 2D animation artist who can assist us with our ongoing B2B client projects and presentations.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills, work ethic, and a work portfolio that demonstrates their passion & understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques. Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction is a must.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of branding across all production videos
Create compelling, sleek, and effective animations for corporate clients
Should be able to understand the script and make storyboarding before creating an explainer video
Should be able to accept changes coming back from clients and do iteration on given time
Should be able to meet a deadline for each video
Ability to work under pressure
Always hungry to learn new techniques and skills

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in Motion graphics, explainer videos, and graphics design and storyboarding
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography & design skills
Visualize the scripts and storyboards to understand animation requirements
Expert Knowledge of After effects, Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and other Animation Software
