A reputable Housing Society based in Lahore requires the services of a Manager of Finance & Accounts leading to head of finance department position as per the following guidelines:

Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Budgeting, Financial and Management Accounting functions
Presentation of financial results and insights to the management committee
Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the compliance with accounting standards
Managing the billing software and able to coordinate with the software management team for further enhancement and reporting
Managing and overseeing the society’s banking arrangements and reconciliations in a timely manner
Risk Management to ensure the operations have a solid risk framework
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Producing accurate financial reports and accounts to specific deadlines
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff

Experience, Education and Skills

3 – 5 years experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success
ACA / CA (Finalist), ACMA, CIMA, M.Com, MBA (Finance) from a chartered institute
Sound decision-making skills
Results-oriented and metrics-driven
Results-oriented and able to solve problems
Ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve the financial and operational goals
Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software

Salary range: 80 - 100 K
