Responsibilities:

Research, develop and edit online content for a current affairs/defense website

Manage daily operations and maintenance of social media accounts

Conceptualize, draft, execute, and maintain SEO friendly digital content

Ensure digital content is written and presented in a format that meets web usability standards, is consistent with company style guidelines and meets reading level requirements when necessary.

Understand keywords and meta tags with the ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images, etc.

Use web and social media analytic data to expand content important to our audiences to prioritize most highly visited content and remove/archive unused or outdated content

Skills & Requirements:

O-Level, A-Level or college students with media/communications-related majors preferred

Training will be provided to selected candidates, prior experience is not necessary

Basic understanding and familiarity with popular social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube is a plus

Strong writing and communications skills preferred

Must have home access to a computer and reliable internet connection (work will primarily be performed from home on a flexible schedule)

Duration: Candidates willing to commit for a minimum of three months - for at least 10 hours per week - preferred

Benefits:

Monthly stipend of Rs. 6,000 to 10,000 per month (1 month evaluation period @ Rs.6,000, subject to increase based on performance)

Letter of recommendation upon conclusion of the internship

Candidates will develop valuable technical skills in the digital media field
