About the Position!

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer to join our Database Team in our Lahore Office.

As a Senior database developer, you will be primarily responsible for the design, develop, test, implement and maintain new and existing databases.
Identify areas for modification in existing queries.
Write and implement efficient code.

What will you do?

Job Role and Duties:

Design, develop and maintain data models and schemas.
Write complex and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and functions in MySQL/SQLite.
Work directly with the product team and engineering team on planning, architecture, and design.
Able to develop a good understanding of existing applications.
Ensure code performance, stability, tuning, and reliability.
Debugging and fixing issues in the SQL query.
Follow standard software development life cycle methodologies.
Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of dependability.
Work independently as a team member.
Should be ready to work and deliver during challenging and tight timelines.
Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in fast paced environment.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience in Database Development.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer sciences.
Demonstrable experience as a Database Development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, edge devices, IoT, KPIs and analytics, and similar concepts.
Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in material handling systems or similar industry would be an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

About Schedule!

Working Hours and Schedule:

40 plus hours per week - Must be willing to work overlapping hours as needed
Monday to Friday
