The Team: The Credit Solutions (CS) team is a distinct line of business within Credit & Risk Solutions (C&RS) that is fully dedicated to the commercialization of the Ratings Division’s intellectual property. Our combined product teams serve as a vehicle to develop solutions that integrate intellectual property across both the Ratings and Market Intelligence divisions. We bring together market-leading credit rating data and research along with workflow platforms, comprehensive analytics, company research, and related data.

The Impact: Sr. Specialist member of the Credit Solutions global go-to-market team managing the flagship commercial desktop offering, RatingsDirect, which includes S&P’s proprietary credit ratings, research, risk indicators, financial data, tools & analytics.  You are a member of the RatingsDirect® product strategy & execution team focusing on the client experience, ‘voice of the customer,’ performing competitive analysis, and analyzing usage and product performance to understand sales growth & drivers. You will directly participate in tactics related to the expansion and retention of the RatingsDirect book of business, including the Capital IQ Pro “Upgrade” program. You will work closely with business partners to execute client engagement and lead-generation campaigns, and successful client migrations.

What’s in it for you: As a member of the RatingsDirect product management team, you will be contributing to the success of Credit Risk Solutions’ premier desktop subscription product. 

  • You will work closely with our Sr product management Team in Islamabad as well as C&RS and broader MI Desktop team across product management, sales, marketing, client support, and product development functions.
  • You will contribute to analyzing customer data, persona insight and book of business trends to develop strategies to support delivery of a new product
  • You will support our client experience with onboarding, workflow and across strategic initiatives
  • Gain an In-depth understanding of RatingsDirect® personas, and the value of S&P Global Ratings’ IP.

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of RatingsDirect on Capital IQ client migration.
  • Analyze book of business, subscription data and the like to support Sr. Management business cases, as assigned.
  • Support commercial strategies to reignite the growth of RatingsDirect® on Capital IQ & Pro, including analysis and development of target lists in Excel and following-up to drive campaign execution.
  • Collate, synthesize, and interpret trends via user feedback, and commercial win/loss pipeline data to identify product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Support communications to deliver insight and updates to internal teams RatingsDirect® e.g., sphere posts, deals of the month, popular research insights, etc.  
  • Utilize the RatingsDirect® content and screener tools to develop useful solutions for clients
  • Develop a proficiency demonstrating desktop workflows of the RatingsDirect product to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the creation of product and marketing collateral, including user guides, release notes, client newsletter, or as assigned
  • Maintain a library of user profiles to represent the Voice of the Customer
  • Help Capture client feedback via surveys and other channels and assist to translate into requirements for the product development team

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a member of the product management core team to support revenue-generation strategies and monitor outcomes of commercial and marketing campaigns. The product strategy analyst will also play a key role executing a successful client migration to RatingsDirect on the CIQ pro/integrated desktop

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (in Finance preferred, not required).
  • Proficient knowledge MS Excel.
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing and maintaining BI/Tableau dashboards
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Reporting
  • Flexible in working any shifts.
  • Ability to synthesize client inputs and other trends into product development requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of credit fundamentals, Credit Rating Agency business model.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Cap IQ & Pro Platforms.
  • Experience in collecting client trends through Usage Cube.
  • Experience with automation
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment, ability to influence outcomes in parallel teams.
