We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team and help ensure the excellence of our web and mobile applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing manual test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and verifying the overall functionality and usability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both web and mobile platforms. Perform manual testing across various environments, including iOS, Android, and multiple web browsers. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues discovered during testing phases. Collaborate with development and product teams to gain a thorough understanding of application features, functionality, and requirements. Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing to ensure software stability and scalability. Perform usability and user interface testing to guarantee a smooth user experience. Ensure compatibility of applications across different devices, browsers, and operating systems. Document and communicate test results, progress updates, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders. Continuously enhance QA processes, improve test coverage, and increase testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. At least six months of proven experience as an SQA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience testing web and mobile applications on platforms such as iOS and Android. Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Effective communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with performance and load testing tools is a plus. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and JIRA is highly desirable.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive starting salary beginning at Rs45,000 per month. Candidates will be requested to provide details about their current and expected salary, salary negotiability, English conversational proficiency rated on a scale from 1 (Novice) to 10 (Expert), and their experience in Software Quality Assurance.
