SQA Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team at a service-based company. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in manual testing methodologies, experience working within software development life cycles, and a keen interest in expanding their skills into automation testing. Key Responsibilities

- Execute manual test cases and document results to ensure software quality.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend services.
- Conduct database testing, particularly with MongoDB, to verify data integrity and accuracy.
- Follow and contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to testing methodologies and automation tools.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience working in a service-based company environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in manual testing techniques.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools to log and manage defects effectively.
- Basic understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with database testing, especially using MongoDB.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
