Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Management:

    • Oversee cash flow, monitor daily transactions, and ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Manage petty cash and reconcile discrepancies.

  2. Receivables and Payables:

    • Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
    • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
    • Handle vendor negotiations and maintain positive relationships.

  3. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize inventory turnover.

  4. Expense Management:

    • Review and approve expense reports.
    • Analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient practices.

  5. Bank Reconciliation:

    • Regularly reconcile bank statements with internal records.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  6. Periodic Accounting:

    • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

  7. Management Information Reports:

    • Generate accurate and timely management reports.
    • Provide insights on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

  8. Record Keeping:

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (In house developed) MS Excel, Word
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
