As an Assistant Engineer, the position will be responsible for the technical design and planning of a climate-resilient and child-friendly TLC structure using local low-cost materials at various sites.

Main Responsibilities:

He will review specifications, identify requirements, and develop technical designs for the TLC structure while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
He will oversee the timely and budget-friendly completion of the TLC structure, ensuring that it meets the required quality standards.
He will perform quality control checks, inspect materials and equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards to ensure that the TLC structure is delivered to the required quality standards.
He will supervise construction activities, manage construction workers, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and monitor progress at multiple project target districts.
He will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
He will liaise with various stakeholders, such as donors, district government, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure effective communication and management of any issues or conflicts that arise.

Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Undertakes any other task assigned by the supervisor.
