Review of existing Strategic Plan Of KPCSW
Terms of Reference:
Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) is a rights-based service delivery organization striving to improve the well-being of communities and ensuring that citizens have access to and are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Since its inception in 1995 SPO is partners and communities across the country in sectors of health, education, sustainable livelihood, climate change, digital knowledge and cultural & tourism promotion.
Strengthening Participatory Organization has been awarded a short term project by UNFPA with the objective to:
1. To build the capacity of the KPCSW on women related laws, policy procedures, associated departments and relevant stakeholders keeping in view the induction of bills and recent legislations with regard to women empowerment.
2. To review the already approved Strategic Plan of KPCSW (developed in 2018) and update the strategic plan in light of the recent development in the context of policy changes and legislation
1. Scope of work:
The purpose of this assignment is to review the existing Strategic Plan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women in consultation with KPCSW board directors, chairperson and staff for strengthening the role of Commission as per its mandate. The revised strategic plan will reflect steps towards complete autonomy of the Commission. The consultant will give recommendations for incorporating changes while keeping in view changes in laws and policies by KP Government in the context of Women empowerment and GBV.
i. Objectives:
1. The consultant will provide its expertise to the Commission in reviewing its strategic plan and recommend changes where necessary in order to achieve the goals of the commission;
2. The Consultant will take lead on bringing all stakeholders on board for development and approval of the Strategic Plan.
Deliverables: The consultant will complete the assignment within 15 working days after signing of the agreement
Technical Supervision:
The consultant will work under the guidance of KPCSW Chairperson and coordinate with SPO Regional Office in Peshawar and will work in close coordination with the Regional Coordinator KP (Primary) & Head of Programs at National Center (Secondary) for administrative, operational, financial & technical coordination
