The Resource Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the delivery and effective implementation of capacity building activities of Aawaz II. S/he will support the Resource Lead for development and revision of training materials and other documents, implementation of training activities and quality assurance of capacity building activities of Aawaz II.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Capacity Building and Quality Assurance

  • Coordinate the delivery of all capacity-building activities and undertake specified technical/support tasks (e.g., manage events, communications, contacts, networks, logistics, external suppliers, meetings) to meet agreed targets for Punjab and KP.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and programme team as advised by Resource Lead and ensure that all necessary training-related documents, project data, administrative documentation and processes regarding the project delivery are maintained as per the specified guidelines by PMU in a chronological manner
  • Collate information for preparation of documents such as presentations, meeting minutes, consent forms etc. for capacity building activities.
  • Provide support to the Resource Lead in developing and revising documents including manuals, handbooks, briefs, Terms of Reference (ToRs), project reports and in day-to-day planning to support capacity-building activities.
  • Support the Resource Lead to build capacity at multiple levels i.e. TOTs with district community facilitators, training sessions with AAC resource persons and VF members, and the orientation of district teams.
  • Provide support for activities with community groups, provincial and downstream partners including learning events, impact assessments, advocacy initiatives and quality assurance of capacity building interventions.  
  • Develop pre and post-assessments to gauge the effectiveness of learning objectives to scale-up and identify target groups’ further learning and capacity-building needs.

Reporting and Documentation 

  • Draft minutes of the meetings with PMU, PP, DSPs and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of narrative and quantitative analysis reports to highlight monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual reports.
  • Gather learnings and document them for course correction in coordination with the field teams.

Inclusion

  • Support the Resource Lead in building linkages with marginalized groups including youth, religious minorities, transgender persons, and PWDs
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for engagement activities with excluded groups at village, district and provincial level. 

Communication and Advocacy

  • Support the development and implementation of an advocacy and engagement plan in coordination with Aawaz II partners to bring behavior change and promote the rights of marginalized groups in Aawaz II districts.
  • Ensure effective implementation of communications activities of Aawaz II with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with relevant stakeholders, partners and PMU, as and when required

Coordination and Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders in all aspects of activities planning, monitoring, and implementation.
  • Work with relevant organizations and vulnerable groups to record high-impact case studies, success stories and testimonials.

Safeguarding, Anti-fraud, and Risk Management

  • Support putting in place the office and team management processes and ensure compliance with Aawaz II operational and safeguarding guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure that team members and volunteers are aware of the safeguarding and anti-fraud policy and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support assessment and identification of project and grants risks and provide mitigation strategies where applicable. Escalate risk to the PMU or organization safeguarding focal person.
  • Comply with the safeguarding and anti-fraud standards in planning, implementation and monitoring of activities and escalate safeguarding-related concerns to the relevant team   

Other Important Requirements of the Job

The post holder is required to travel frequently and support working during unsocial hours.

Undertake any other responsibility assign by the supervisor.

Skills:

  • The resource coordinator will work full-time on the Aawaz II programme.
  • This role requires at least four years of experience in the development sector preferably in community development.
  • The candidate must have expertise in inclusion specifically focusing rights of women, youth, religious minorities, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups and mandatory experience in gender mainstreaming and social inclusion.
  • The resource coordinator should have effective capacity building and facilitation skills, with experience of designing and delivering ToTs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal in English and Urdu)

Good knowledge of programme management methods
