Key Responsibilities
Support the build-out of the new Hyderabad office by setting up workstations, including monitors and peripherals. Collaborate with Network Engineers to establish on-premise hardware infrastructure and install conference room equipment, ensuring all systems function properly. Maintain seamless internet connectivity and provide access to LiveRamp applications for employees, troubleshooting and resolving any system or access issues promptly.
Deliver empathetic and effective customer support both in-person and remotely, ensuring positive user experiences at every interaction. Manage endpoint devices such as laptops, printers, servers, video conferencing tools, iPads, and network hardware, while maintaining accurate hardware and software asset inventories. Respond to Tier 1 through Tier 4 support requests via the ticketing system, resolving issues across multiple platforms with clear, jargon-free communication.
Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes, automate tasks, and enhance the overall employee technology experience. Act as a system administrator for one or more applications, overseeing maintenance, monitoring, security, support, and improvements. Provide proactive guidance, training, and support to users to promote self-sufficiency and proficiency with their technology tools.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT, with at least 3 years dedicated to desktop support. A strong desire to assist others and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Patience and empathy when supporting users with varying technical skills are essential. Proven ability to support executive teams by ensuring their technology interactions are seamless and worry-free.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues in an accessible and respectful manner. Extensive experience building and supporting Mac systems, which constitute 80% of the desktop environment, along with experience supporting Windows desktops. Experience as a system administrator for IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, preferably FreshService or Jira Service Management.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (gSuite) and Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with device management tools such as Jamf, Workspace ONE, or Microsoft Intune is important. Knowledge of security tools including CrowdStrike and Netskope, as well as asset management software, is necessary. Experience in hardware procurement is expected, and vendor management experience is a plus. ISO, ITIL, or related certifications are desirable or a strong willingness to obtain them.
