Job Type: Full time, Permanent position

What we're looking for

Our solutions include Conventional and Digital VAS solutions, Enterprise & Surveillance Solutions, Customer Care Solutions including IVR, SMS. In addition to VAS, we have Agriculture, Travel, Weather verticals operating as separate companies with an employee base of 200+

As a Manager Operations, you will report to the Head of VAS. You will be responsible to define the Operations function strategy and roadmap ensuring smooth running of all operational endeavours. You will work closely with commercial operations, products, technical and support departments to ensure meeting VAS operations’ goals. The Manager Operations also ensures to execute operations as per the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead VAS commercial operations team
Maintain action item tracker for VAS operations, follow up with the stake holders and improve VAS commercial team operational efficiency
Pursue and follow up on pending/tasks in VAS conventional pipeline internally within the company.
Raise, coordinate and ensure follow up with the client POC’s for any VAS related dependencies required for refining the existing portfolio of VAS as well as ensure closure of any pending tasks.
Ensure efficient inter-departmental communication with the stakeholders both internal as well as externally with the client and vendors.
Develop content – presentations/write-ups required to deliver in routine as well as need-based client meetings
Standardization of VAS deliverables
Timely sharing of reports with the VAS team internally as well as releasing dashboard to client
Handle complaints and provide support to client for the individual customer complaints being escalated to commercial support team
Follow up with dev-ops team for timely rectification of the outages and customer complaints and share timely response with clients
Share daily, weekly and monthly reports for complaints with VAS conventional team and management
Identify improvement areas in reporting complaints as well as revenues and customer engagement
Ensure JIRA usage and enforcement of the JIRA workflow, define SOP’s for JIRA usage and share daily, weekly and monthly reports with team and management
Identify automation opportunities for VAS conventional

Desired Qualifications, Capabilities and Experience:

University degree in Business or Technology
More than 5 years in a Operations’ role
Experience with Telecom VAS as well as operations will be preferred
Broad experience with Microsoft office & other relevant tools,
Have good presentation and communication skills with proficiency in English with ability to influence colleagues and decision makers
Work experience in VAS/IT company/startup is highly desirable
High level of integrity and ethics
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Able to work with a high degree of execution power and passion
Demonstrate commitment, maturity, flexibility and speed in response to challenges
