Your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
Collaborating with backend engineers to drive the design of our APIs and backend services;
Owning features throughout their lifecycle, from inception to supporting production
Creating efficient and reusable front-end systems to drive our web application and marketplace
Constantly exploring and communicating front-end best practices
Identifying technical debt and offer recommendations on improving the quality of the frontend codebase;
Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
Translating complex design and product requirements into discrete engineering tasks with level of effort estimates
Identifying areas for optimization from both a performance and development workflow perspective

Job requirements

About You:

Must have:

More than 5 years of experience in developing scalable frontend applications
Deep experience with JavaScript, including Angular (preferably Angular 9, 10, or 11)
Deep Experience with well organized structured markup (HTML CSS)
Deep experience with Git, including how to manage handle merge conflicts as well as working in an environment with a strict Git process such as git-flow
Deep Experience integrating with back-end APIs via REST;
Experience with newer CSS concepts such as feature queries, grid layout, scss, etc.
Experience with state management — Redux/MobX/@ngrx/ngxs
Experience with acceptance, integration and unit testing

Nice to Have

Able to use design patterns to design efficient, maintainable, and scalable features.
Experience integrating with back-end APIs via GraphQL/WebSockets.
Experience with improving application performance using Lighthouse audits and PageSpeed insights.
Experience in developing micro frontends.
Experience with CI/CD in a frontend context.
Experience with E2E testing using puppeteer or cypress
