Senior Web Developer

Job Description

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible to support and develop web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities, by making sure that your code is clear and self-explanatory. You have to write and review codes for various applications and make sure that the software documentation is up to date.

Roles & Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

Creates user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications.
You work with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap Ext-JS and NodeJS on existing products and tools.
Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.

Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Identifying user and system requirements for new websites and applications.
Prioritizing software development projects, setting timelines and assigning tasks to team members.
Run functionality testings and debug code.
Development of innovative web applications with the latest web technologies and great visibility.

Skills & Qualifications

5 years of experience in web development.
Masters in Computer Science.
Verbal communication in English and German (German classes can be arranged via Talentech for a month).
Web User Interface Design.
Web Programming Skills.
Software Architecture and Development Fundamentals.
Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
Multimedia Content Development.
Software Debugging.
Technical Leadership.
Must be team oriented and self motivated and willing to work in a challenging environment.
