We’re looking for someone who can:
- Write compelling, fact-checked scripts for short and long-form YouTube news videos
- Break down complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
- Adapt writing tone for YouTube audiences (credible yet conversational)
- Work closely with editors, researchers, and on-screen hosts
- Pitch timely and relevant news content ideas
- Deliver fast turnarounds without compromising accuracy
Requirements:
- 6+ Months of experience in content writing or digital journalism
- Strong command of English and Urdu
- Familiarity with YouTube formats, trends, and digital news tone
- Background in journalism, media, or mass communication preferred
- Ability to write for voice-over (script-style) and visual pacing
- Bonus: Experience writing for video or podcasting platforms
