We are looking for a PHP Developer who writes beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way.

The main responsibilities include:

Write “clean”, well-designed, efficient, testable and reusable code

Produce detailed specifications

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Follow industry best practices

Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Basic Requirements

Proven software development experience in PHP

Experience using Design Patterns

Experience with User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis etc

Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, AJAX etc

Experience with RESTful APIs including common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)

Familiarity with SQL databases and their declarative query languages

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and using code repositories

Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
