The SEO Lead is responsible for coordinating and implementing SEO strategies for clients. The right person for this job will be very analytical, goal orientated and have great interpersonal skills. This role includes interacting with clients as well as working closely with the team to make sure that the goals of the client are achieved.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of the SEO strategy, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Define requirements, tasks and resources associated with the SEO Strategy.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC & social media.
- Manage the PPC strategy according to client requirements.
- Develop the paid marketing strategies for key accounts to drive growth and maximise the performance of the digital marketing for the client.
- Responsible for team operations and team output.
- Oversee optimisation of campaigns including utilisation of bid management tools.
- Management of direct reports to effectively manage and optimise campaigns.
- Implement and administer search engine programs (XML, shopping feeds, webmaster tools).
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Java Scripts.
- Develop link building campaigns.
- Perform SEO technical analysis and evaluation of client websites.
- Perform ongoing keyword research to support content writers and Web Marketing Managers.
- Evaluate current editorial content for quality and optimization purposes.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Perform additional SEO related tasks as necessary and when advised by leadership.
- Assist in maintaining local business listings through Google Places and other third-party websites.
- Work with development team to ensure correct implementation of SEO recommendations and best practices and to understand areas of improvement
