DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

Work closely with Corporate & Investment Banking, Public Sector & Retail Banking Teams to devise and develop customized banking solutions for Chinese corporates/entities based all over the country.
Generate leads and work as a cross selling anchor to coordinate with all business units to deliver the required services/products to clients.
Develop and execute the business plan for China Business Desk, including hiring and managing of team, development of budgets, MIS and Regulatory compliances.
Act as the public face of the bank for all China related initiatives and project BOP as a leading player in this space
Develop business relationships with direct and indirect stakeholders like suppliers based in China and their representatives (agents/indenters), Government agencies and ministries as well as Multi-lateral and bi-lateral agencies including AIIB, ADB, World Bank etc.
Keep up to date on new contracts, supplies and services projects with Chinese companies and remain engaged with relevant ministries and government bodies to remain on top of things for any development, which may generate commercial lead for the bank.
Identify cash management, transaction banking, payroll solutions, personal banking, payments, collections, and deposit/liability based opportunities with Chinese companies and their staff and develop solutions to deliver.
Should be well versed in regulatory and legal requirements of equity/investment registration, repatriation, establishment of offshore / branch offices, representative offices, and subsidiaries.

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, from a HEC recognized University/ Foreign University. Preferences shall be given to post-graduate. Knowledge of Chinese language will be highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum 09 Years of relevant Banking experience. Candidates with experience at same position shall be preferred.

Age: Up to 55 Years as of Nov 25 2021
