Purpose of the post:

The main purpose of the role is to manage and implement project activities at Innovation Hub Pakistan - Jamshoro for local people in the area which offers a range of services to help youth develop and manage their skills. The role will be responsible for the development and management of a range of services provided by the hub.

Key Tasks:

· Community building

· Field activities including community mobilization

· Meetings with stakeholders for support to the program

· Public Relations

· Report writing

· Work closely in partnership with project partners to coordinate processes and activity

· Provide a coordinating function & to provide information pertaining to the hub

· Act as a manager in relation to all activities to be performed in the hub.

· Provide information, logistical and procedural support to a pool of facilitators including volunteer facilitators

· Set up a mentorship trajectory for young (female) entrepreneurs. Support in the form of coaching, space and access to investors.

· Work on the possibility of connecting local produce with possible investors

· Provide reports of activity and outcomes

· Support the development of infrastructure and systems

· Arrange trainings & various events

· Liaison with government, NGOs, private sector and SME’s.

· Work closely with field mobilizers o engage community

· Arrange meetings and venues when required

· Communications / marketing strategy-- creating strategic marketing / communications plans to provide direction for the project activities

· Business development – Marketing plan and implementation for various services

· Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

· At least three years of experience in relevant management positions

· Deep understanding of the locality & local cultures in the area of implementation of the project

· Knowledge of local languages of the area of implementation of the project

· Demonstrable experience in a management role

· Exceptional organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills

· An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

· Ability to work to tight deadlines

· Thorough working knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, databases and Internet

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with staff and colleagues across government and other agencies and at all levels

· Willingness to undertake training and build expertise in relevant areas

· Be able to deal with all information on a confidential basis.

· Able to attend meetings away from the office base after office hours / willingness to work on a flexible schedule

Preferred

· Team work spirit

· Ability to take initiative where appropriate to deal with difficulties encountered in daily work

· Local languages (Sindhi, Urdu)

· Fluency in English.
