We are looking for a qualified Procurement Manager with an experience of a well known Supermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:

Lead sourcing efforts for goods and services, ensuring the selection of quality suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Maintain relationships with current suppliers and evaluate new suppliers to meet the company’s needs.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Procurement Planning & Execution:

Work closely with internal departments to understand their needs and forecast procurement requirements.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and cost savings goals.
Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant legal regulations.

Budget & Cost Control:

Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or service.
Prepare detailed procurement reports for management, highlighting cost savings and potential risks.

Contract & Risk Management:

Draft, review, and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.
Monitor contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for renegotiation.
Mitigate procurement risks through proactive planning and supplier risk management.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
Set clear performance goals and objectives for the procurement team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the procurement department.

Skills:

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and levels of the organization.
In-depth knowledge of procurement software and tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
