Python Developer

TPL Insurance is Pakistan’s first and only direct insurance company to pioneer contact centers and web-based services, allowing customers to interact and retrieve progress on their insurance policies and claims.

Currently, we are looking for the services of energetic, enthusiastic, and result-oriented professionals for the position of Python Developer at our Karachi Office.

This position will be responsible for the following:

Studying and transforming data science prototypes
Defining data augmentation pipelines
Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
Researching and implementing appropriate ML algorithms and tools
Selecting appropriate datasets and data representation methods
Performing statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
Training and retraining systems when necessary
Extending existing ML libraries and frameworks
Deploying models on staging and containerized deployment on production

Required skills are as follows:

Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Robust data modelling and data architecture skills
Ability to write robust code in Python and its core frameworks Django, Flask etc.
Experience in working with various ML libraries like Scikit learn, Theano, Tensorflow, Matplotlib, Caffe, etc.
Knowledge of Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Flume, etc.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks Keras and TensorFlow
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment technologies
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Code versioning on Git
