Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial record keeping.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with audit and tax requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local Tax regulations.
- Manage Tax Deposits and Tax Return Filings at the federal and state levels.
- Review tax documents to assess eligibility for tax credits and deductions.
- Stay up to date with U.S. tax legislation and communicate relevant updates.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Department to resolve taxation-related issues and complaints.
- Provide expert customer support regarding tax inquiries, documentation, and software use.
- Guide clients on tax filing deadlines, payment schedules, and refund processes.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve client issues and improve internal processes.
Requirements:
- CA, O,R ACCA Part qualified Preferred
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in taxation, especially with U.S. tax laws.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, labor laws, accounting principles, and document archiving processes.
- Previous experience in customer support within a financial services environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office (especially advanced Excel), and Google Docs/Sheets.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity using chatbots and CRM platforms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
