Senior Developer - Node.Js

At Triumph Tech, we are looking for Senior Node.js developer to join our Lahore-based team. This role is ideal for you if you have a wealth of experience in developing great software and you enjoy a balance of project leadership, solution architecture, mentorship and hands-on delivery.

Our bread and butter is in turning ideas into prototypes which can then be deployed securely and reliably to our platform. This means we are constantly delivering new, creative solutions using cutting edge technology. If you are smart and get excited about getting things done, we would love to hear from you!

You will play key part in shaping a Retail Management Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Skills/ Requirements

3+ years of commercial software development experience
A strong understanding of software development techniques such as Object-Oriented design, Test-Driven development, and Continuous Delivery
An eye for design when it comes to building beautiful software
Ability to analyse and make recommendations for general improvement
Passionate about solving complex problems

Experience

Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Express.js & sockets.io
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation.
Experience with service oriented architectures and designing/developing RESTful web services.
Experience building and deploying solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Additional skills to push you to the front of the pack:

Experience with Jira.
Experience with Git.
Experience with Docker containers.
Experience with UNIX shell and scripting.
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Experience developing single page web apps using React.js, Redux, Bootstrap, Babel, Gulp, ES6/7.
Knowledge of backwards compatible schema migrations for zero downtime deployments.

This is a full-time role commencing 1st April,
