Position Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales and expanding our market presence in your assigned areas. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for the FMCG industry to contribute to the growth and success of our company. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Conduct regular market visits, customer meetings, and product presentations to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the FMCG industry, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to drive sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software and MS Office applications.
