Job Duties and Tasks for: "Teacher Assistant Daycare"

Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
Observe and monitor children's play activities and engage them in constructive activities.
Perform duties as planned under the leadership of the Early Childhood Specialist
Assist & monitor in preparation of formulas/ food for children and serving of meals and refreshments to children
Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as indoor/ outdoor games.
Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
Assist & Monitor the Sterilization of the bottles , kitchen utensils and in maintenance of the hygienic indoor / outdoor environment
Provide counseling to the children with behavior problems.
Monitor the changing of Diapers & dress of the children.
Assist children with homework in case of after school care.
Monitor the supporting staff for housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing of linens.
Accompany children to and from school, on outings, and to medical appointments.
Assist & monitor the children into baths or pools.
Update the section head about parents query or incident.
Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible
Perform the assorted duties assigned by the management.

THIS IS A 9AM - 6PM POSITION. PART TIME OPTION OF 1PM - 6PM IS ALSO AVAILABLE
