Business Manager - Fintech Business

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of our growing technology firm. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, the Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing key organizational functions including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Reach initiatives. This role demands exceptional English language communication skills, proven experience working with C-level executives, and a strong understanding of organizational mandates. Knowledge of global financial markets, particularly FX, US Equities, and cryptocurrency, will be a significant advantage. Initially a remote position, this role may transition into a hybrid model in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Alignment and Execution: Work closely with the CEO and other C-level executives to understand, translate, and execute organizational mandates and strategic objectives across all relevant departments.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide oversight and guidance to the HR, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Reach teams, ensuring alignment and efficient operation towards company goals.
• Human Resources Management: Oversee all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Marketing Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth in global financial markets.
• Financial Oversight: Work closely with the Finance team to monitor financial performance, manage budgets, develop financial reports, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Customer Reach and Engagement: Oversee strategies and initiatives aimed at expanding customer reach, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering strong client relationships.
• Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present clear, concise, and professional reports to the executive team on the progress of various initiatives and key performance indicators.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Financial Market Awareness: Stay abreast of developments and trends in global financial markets, particularly FX, US Equities, and cryptocurrency, to inform business decisions.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes across different departments.
• Project Management: Manage and oversee specific projects as assigned by the executive team.
• US Hours Flexibility: Be available to work during US business hours to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders in those time zones.
• Remote to Hybrid Transition: Be prepared for a potential transition from a fully remote role to a hybrid work model based on future business needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional English Language Communication Skills: Demonstrated mastery of written and verbal English, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and professionally to diverse audiences.
• Experience Working with C-Level Executives: Proven track record of effectively collaborating with and presenting to C-level executives, understanding their priorities, and managing organizational mandates.
• Leadership and Management Experience: Significant experience in a management role, overseeing multiple functional areas (HR, Marketing, Finance, Customer Reach preferred).
• Organizational and Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand the big picture, develop strategic plans, and translate them into actionable operational steps.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound and timely decisions.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Business Software: Familiarity with relevant business software and tools for communication, project management, and reporting.
• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Strong Knowledge of Financial Markets: In-depth understanding of global financial markets, with specific knowledge of FX, US Equities, and cryptocurrency trading.
• Experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) Industry: Prior experience working for a technology firm that develops solutions for the financial services sector.
• Experience with Trading Platforms: Familiarity with the development, deployment, and support of trading platforms.
• International Business Experience: Experience working in a global environment and understanding cross-cultural communication.
