Key Elasticsearch Responsibilities

Provide Elastic Search relevancy tuning/optimization based on the specific client data structure
Design indexed data structures based on various client product catalog hierarchies (flat vs parent-child, etc.)
Develop queries/template fragments
Faceting/Filtering

Required Skills

Expert knowledge with the Elasticsearch/ELK platform - Ideally 3+ years of experience and someone who has built an enterprise-level ES solution before, preferably more than once
Knowledge and experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
Knowledge of common Internet technologies, standards, and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.
Working knowledge of APIs / Data formats JSON
Experience with cloud-native development languages including Kubernetes and CI/CD
Experience upgrading Elasticsearch versions
Develop code with quality, scalability, and extensibility
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Strong Analytical and Communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with highly scaled distributed and mission-critical environments
Experience creating commercial and internal APIs and frameworks
