Oversees, supervises, and evaluates the operations of the Accounting Department
Establish accounting systems and enforce policies and procedures.
Maintain chain of command throughout department.
Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
Assign Daily base tasking between accounting staff members.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our Accounts according to client needs and objectives.
Forecasts and tracks client account metrics.
Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
Verify the accounting information collected, analyse that information from the top down, and offer the last verification on financial data.
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and Taxes.
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Verify and analyse the data received/recorded by Payroll/Bookkeeping team to make sure the completeness and Accuracy of data in VT Transactions.
Prepare VT returns based on recorded data by Bookkeeping team.
Ensure to meet HMRC deadlines of VT return submissions for each VT registered Client.
Ensure and prepare reconciliation b/w VT returns and Draft Accounts.
Ensure to avoid duplication of any invoice in VT and Accounts.
Timely follow up to Bookkeeping team for data required in preparation of VT returns & Draft Accounts, respectively.
Preparing Draft Accounts based on VAT returns (Where applicable), Reconciled Banks, Sales reports, Paypal statement reconciliation etc.
