A Norway-based company is looking to hire a Wireless Network Engineer with at least five years of hands-on experience in wireless networking, particularly in enterprise design and deployments. This full-time role is located at the company’s offshore office in Lahore and requires working onsite from Monday to Friday, between 12 PM and 9 PM Pakistan Time. The position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs140,000 to Rs150,000 (net), which is fixed and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise wireless networks with a focus on advanced wireless technologies and solutions. Utilize expertise in wireless networking platforms such as Extreme Networks XIQ, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, and Ubiquiti. Conduct RF planning, including channel allocation, roaming optimization, and spectrum analysis to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. Perform predictive and onsite wireless surveys using tools like Ekahau AI Pro. Lead client workshops, deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and communicate technical information effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and meet client requirements.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or a related field is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of practical experience in wireless networking within enterprise environments. Holding a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification is mandatory. A strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including channel planning, roaming, and spectrum analysis, is required. Proficiency in Ekahau AI Pro for conducting wireless surveys is necessary. Excellent communication skills are important for client interactions, report writing, and documentation. The ability to lead workshops and engage effectively with both technical and business audiences is expected. Candidates must be professionally proficient in English and willing to work onsite in Lahore during the specified hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Additional certifications such as Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP) or Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) are preferred. Having the Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE) certification is considered an advantage.
