We are looking for a talented WordPress backend developer who is passionate about writing clean, scalable code and delivering customized, high-performance WordPress solutions. In this full-time, in-person role, you will be an integral part of our growing team, responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress plugins and themes. Your work will focus on optimizing backend performance, ensuring website security, and building scalable systems that meet project requirements. This position offers a competitive monthly salary and the chance to collaborate closely with frontend developers and designers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes aligned with project needs.
- Optimize backend performance by designing efficient database structures and improving server-side processes.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance website functionality.
- Work collaboratively with frontend developers and designers to create seamless and cohesive user experiences.
- Implement best practices to ensure website security, scalability, and fast loading times.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and core WordPress development.
- Demonstrated experience in building custom plugins and themes for WordPress.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, and WP-CLI tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, debugging tools, and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques and security best practices within WordPress environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with WooCommerce or WordPress multisite configurations.
- Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks is advantageous.
