Backend / MEAN Stack Developer (Team lead)

We are looking for a strong back-end developer having at least 2 years of Node.JS, Express and Mongo DB along with overall 5+ years of experience. You will be working and managing a team consisting of web designer, front-end developer, mobile developer and tester. So, experience as a team lead would be a big asset. You have good command on JIRA and can manage tasks for the team.

Your responsibilities:

• Your work will consist of two parts, 30% team management and 70% development

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Deployment workflows and workarounds of common problems

• Review code of other developers and ensure the overall quality

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• Strong object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis skills.

• Strong back-end design and development skills

• At least 2 years of experience in Node.js and available frameworks (Express)

• Very strong proficiency with JavaScript

• Strong experience in integration of data storage solutions and query optimization for SQL and NoSQL databases

• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS

• At least 1-year experience in Angular 4

• Experience with Websocket (socket.io) is a big plus!

• Sound understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

• Understanding accessibility and security compliance

• Complete knowledge of modern Javascript MVC frameworks

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Good verbal & written communication skills

• Someone who could take the team along with the project pace

Analytical minded and general problem-solving skills are very important
