This is a full-time role for a Java Team Lead. The Java Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of developers working on microservices using Java and Design Patterns. The team lead will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met and that the team is working efficiently. This is an on-site role located in Karachi.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Java and Spring Boot developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Drive the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Quality Assurance, to define requirements and deliver features that meet client needs.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members to promote code quality and maintainability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
Provide technical leadership and guidance, resolving technical challenges and driving solutions to completion.
Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Java and Spring Boot.
Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams in an Agile environment.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with modern software development tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Certification in Java or Spring Boot is desirable.
