• Maintain different types of software, including reporting, mobile and business applications.
• Be able to develop / update software system and databases written for desktops and mobiles.
• Good in languages/ platforms including .NET, C#, ASP, PHP and similar tools.
• Strong command on databases including MySQL, SQL server. Be able to design, normalize, de-normalize databases and write procedures and optimize SQL.
• Write implement mobile application through android SDK and custom mobile platforms.
• Configure mobile platforms to use customized applications.
• Configure / display GEO data on satellite maps using available tools.
• Develop functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI (Graphical User Interface), Screen and Interface designs
• Liaise with the business units, system engineer and support teams to deliver technology solutions as necessary by the department.
• Develop training material and conduct trainings and workshops on the developed system.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 3+ years of practical experience in a medium sized organization.
• Certification is a definite plus
• Three plus years writing code in .NET, C#, ASP, PHP and similar tools is a must. Testing software applications to production.
• Able to conclude/deliver a software project on his/her own.
• Complete working knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Working experience in mobile application development.
• Experience with configuring databases MySQL and SQL server.
• Solid scripting skills (in any one of., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
