Duties & Responsibilities:

Working and developing visual ideas that suit the brief by collaborating with the team
Working alongside the Art Director and Design Team lead to brainstorm ideas with rough visuals - this stage may involve going back to the drawing board several times to rework designs & sketches
Using drawing, sketching, painting, and photographic skills to produce illustrations
Working and developing concepts for visualization of a script that suits the brief by collaborating with the team
Making sketches of key scenes in sequence, ensuring continuity (keeping details or the storyline connected)
Visualizing scenes from the camera viewpoint, plotting character positions, angles, and other elements in each frame
Creating final storyboards for production, such as specifying camera angles, character mood, dialogue indication, movements, and overall theme
Producing ‘rough’ drawings where not much detail is needed and producing ‘clean’ drawings where high detail is needed
Seeking approval at all stages of development and making any changes as required, right up to the completion of the job

Skills & Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or similar role
Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations
Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Drawing skills with an attention to detail and pace (both by hand and digital pen)
Credible understanding and sense of UI/UX and modern styles of illustration
Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills
Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines
