Senior PHP Developer / Team Lead

A progressive software development company located at Gulshan e Iqbal Block-5, Karachi is looking for ‘Technical Lead’ that would be part of management and collaborating closely with the Business manager. Candidate must be Computer Science/Software Engineering Graduate or Masters with at least 3-4 years of professional industry relevant experience (Preferably in tier 1-2 IT Company) along with having exceptional English communication and team management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the existing Development team. (We have about 5-6 fresh to junior level but promising resources).

• Helping the business team with Pre-Sales through high level analysis of the project, getting on client calls (international) and discussing scope of work.

• Leading project development from the front and assigning associated tasks to team players.

• Should be hand-on involved in active development, consultancy and code review activity.

• Assisting in screening/interviewing of Developers for the Development department for new resources to be taken on-board.

• Conducting training sessions for the Development/SQA team as and when required.

• Adhere to high-quality development practices while following projects/tasks deadlines.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience of open source and closed source technologies such as PHP (plus its frameworks), MVC, Yii2, Python, Java and others

• Must also have solid command over hybrid mobile application technologies such as Ionic framework, Angular, React Native and others. Experience with native development is a plus.

• Exceptional skills in handling databases.

• Strong OOPs, design pattern and architecture concepts and design patterns.

• Experience with MYSQL, ERD, NodeJS, Elastic Search, Mongo DB and others

• Ability to write efficient queries and scalable code
