Job Summary
786 PZAF is hiring a CEO who will work closely and report to the firm's board. Competitive salary based on the candidate's experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures2) Strengthen the sales department, including developing new distribution channels3) Providing strategic direction on matters relating to business performance and business opportunities, and changes to enhance profitability and shareholder value4) Preparing regular reports to the board that provide a strategic direction and qualitative assessment on the achievement of the planned goals for the business5) Ensuring structures and policies are developed and implemented and maintained6) Establishing and managing highly collaborative relationships with key policy makers, customers and other key stakeholders, both locally and internationally7) Designing the implementation of marketing strategies and prospects for new business8) Manage a team of over 60 employees across headquarters and 13 pharmacies9) Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics10) Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of all departments including but not limited to HR, IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, etc. 11) Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Qualifications
1) Proven experience as CEO/COO or relevant senior management role. Preference for individuals with work experience in healthcare, retail chains, and distribution experience2) Excellent organizational, analytical, negotiation, and business management skills3) Managed a team of at least 20 people4) Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT)5) Track record of leading growth in a company 6) Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development7) Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics8) Strong written and oral communication skills in Dari, Pashto, and English9) Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities10) Bachelor’s degree or higher
