Content Writer

Our Client The Ministry of National Food Security & Research (MNFSR) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Writer (SPPS-III) to support its communication and outreach functions. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing clear, audience-specific, and SEO-optimized content to enhance the visibility of MNFSR’s policies, regulatory frameworks, food safety alerts, trade procedures, and strategic initiatives.

The Content Writer will translate complex policy information into accessible, engaging content for various audiences, including farmers, exporters, investors, and the general public. The role includes content creation for digital platforms, newsletters, FAQs, speeches, media campaigns, and institutional portals. A strong understanding of agriculture, trade, and public-sector communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and edit high-quality, audience-focused content for web, social media, print, and stakeholder communications.
Translate technical and regulatory language into user-friendly formats for public outreach.
Draft policy briefs, speeches, newsletters, FAQs, press releases, fact sheets, and event summaries.
Support the development and maintenance of MNFSR’s editorial calendar and content audit log.
Promote content through digital channels, ensuring SEO compliance and metadata optimization.
Collaborate with technical experts to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.
Design outreach material for e-portals, training, and awareness campaigns.
Assist in the preparation of communication material for donor agencies and investment promotion.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Communication Design, or Public Policy from a recognized university.
Certifications in technical writing, SEO, CMS tools, or Adobe Creative Suite are desirable.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical or policy-oriented content development.
Prior experience in public sector, agriculture, regulatory, or trade-related institutions is highly preferred.
Strong command over English and Urdu, with proven writing and editing capabilities.
Familiarity with SEO techniques, CMS platforms, metadata management, and digital publishing.
Experience in creating content for websites, social media, policy briefs, and public awareness materials.
Ability to simplify complex information for public consumption and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
