Software Development Engineer IN TEST (IOS)

Participate in design and development of our native iOS applications
Perform code coverage and complexity analysis
Help development team in writing tests that are of business value
Help improve our KeepTruckin products in quality and usability
Create performance tests
Creating and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks
Enhancing and maintaining Automated Regression and Smoke Tests
Enhancing and maintaining multiple Test Suites
Develop CI and CD infrastructure and maintain it
Become a key part of QA team in testing our KeepTruckin ELD (Electronic Logging Device, an in-vehicle data acquisition system) and non-ELD integrated mobile applications
Create test plans, maintain documentation, and perform manual and automated testing on iOS and other platforms
Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems to management
Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in mobile application functions, outputs, screens, and content
Taking ownership of personal development and skill enhancement
Collaborate with KeepTruckin product, design, and support teams
Collaborate with KeepTruckin software and embedded systems development teams
Be able to work as part of a small, highly-motivated, tightly-knit team - using Agile Testing Methodologies
Take ownership of E2E testing
Perform manual testing during alpha and beta cycles

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

1+ years experience in Software Test Automation
Keen eye for attention to details
Flare for testing location/maps based real time systems
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles
Ability to take ownership of all Automated testing tasks
Ability to understand Software Design Specifications
Ability to create boundary value, positive, and negative test cases
Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA will be preferable)
Knowledge of OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms
Hands on experience with Objective C, Swift, XUnit based testing frameworks, and XCode is a must
Hands on experience with iOS is a must
Knowledge of Performance testing concepts and tools (LoadRunner, JMeter or LoadComplete etc.) is a plus
Interest in commercial vehicles such as large trucks is a big plus!
